MFE – Summer Term 2024

Please read this information about the MFE- Minimum Funding Entitlement - Not every nursery school participates in this scheme as it is quite a lot of paperwork so please help us by adhering to the below.

Pangbourne House participates in the Minimum Funding Entitlement which delivers free 15 hours of early education to all children attending participating providers from the term after their third birthday. In order to get the MFE you need to sign the paperwork sent to you by the school and send in a photocopy of your child’s passport or birth certificate. There are no exceptions as this is a statutory requirement.

The rate paid to Pangbourne House is £7.47* an hour. *this amount may be subject to change.

You are only required to pay for the additional services package as detailed below.

What the Additional Services Package includes: Montessori teaching and apparatus, gymnastics, drama, music and a range of creative art activities. It is the cost of these services that is charged separately.

The final fees have been calculated for you depending on the days/opytions you choose below.

You are only entitled to the MFE if you sign the required paperwork (please download forms above) and send in a photocopy of your child’s passport or birth certificate. You only need to do this once. There are no exceptions as this is a statutory requirement.

School Dog*

I approve of Liffey being with the children under careful supervision of a responsible adult.

Liffey is the school dog at Pangbourne House. She is well-trained, obedient, docile, affectionate, clean and routinely vaccinated. Liffey is kept in the office; when she is in the classrooms she is always supervised by an adult. Likewise, under supervision, the children are given the opportunity to hold her lead and walk her in the park.

We would like to emphasise that without this password we will not be able to pass your child over to an adult unknown to us.

Photography / Video

Photographs or video footage of my child to be used for school use i.e. teacher observations or class displays. Also for other parents to take photographs or video footage during school events like plays and sports days, etc
